I left KC today, and on the way, I stopped by Olathe Medical Center to say goodbye to my sister. I never realized how hard it was going to be to say goodbye to two dear women who love me more than I could ever imagine. They are truly wonderful.
So my first fifteen miles on I35 to the hospital just so happened to be directly in the middle of a Thunderstorm. Down pour, or rather to the side, with winds up to 50 mph and lightening surrounding me, I slowly made it down the puddle crowded interstate, just in order to drag my sea of water behind me into the hospital. Who would have known, I would be changing clothes so quickly.
Of course, saying goodbye to my two sisters was very difficult, but I do realize something...I have so much to come home to.
